I’m so glad you landed on my lil corner of the internet! After 26 wonderful years in the classroom, engaging students and sprinkling knowledge like confetti, I turned my passion for teaching into ROCKIN RESOURCES® and ROCKSTAR WRITERS®, two platforms designed to motivate reluctant learners and empower teachers.
With a Master of Arts in Teaching, National Board Certification, and decades of classroom experience, I’ve taken my love of teaching beyond the classroom as an author of professional books for educators and children’s books that blend learning, expressive language, and meaningful character lessons.
When I’m not writing or creating, you’ll find me spending time with my family (and my pampered kitty), cheering at concerts, relaxing on the lake, or giving back through nonprofit education organizations. And one of my greatest joys? Hearing from former students who still call me Mrs. O.—a sweet reminder that the impact of a teacher lasts long after students leave the classroom.
